Regulations

These regulations define the rights and obligations of graduate students regarding their enrollment and completion of studies in the Master’s Program in “Educational Sciences: Dance, Society, and Culture.” Graduate students are entitled to all the rights, benefits, and accommodations provided to undergraduate students, with the exception of the right to receive free textbooks. Graduate students with disabilities or special educational needs are provided with accommodations regarding examination procedures, access to facilities, and teaching laboratories. At the start of the academic year and upon completion of registration, a welcome event is held for incoming graduate students in the presence of the Dean, the Chair, the faculty members of the graduate program, and the head and staff of the Department’s Secretariat. During the event, the administrators provide all necessary information regarding the Department’s operations, the curriculum, student affairs, and the academic life of the students, and relevant questions are asked.

The internal regulations define the structure, organization, and operating rules of the Master’s Program in “Educational Sciences: Dance, Society, and Culture,” of the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina, as established by a decision of the Assembly of the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina (No. … …), was approved by the Senate of the University of Ioannina, published in the Government Gazette, posted on the Department’s website, and communicated to the Ministry of Education, Research, and Religious Affairs.

These regulations for the Academic Advisor (AA) of the Master’s Program in “Educational Sciences: Dance, Society, and Culture,” was approved by the Assembly of the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina at its meeting No. 815/4.12.2024 and follows the Academic Advisor Regulations (ASS) of the University of Ioannina, which was approved by the Quality Assurance Unit of the University of Ioannina at its meeting No. 12/2-11-2020.

These Research Ethics Guidelines for the Master’s Program in “Educational Sciences: Dance, Society, and Culture,” was approved by the Assembly of the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina at its meeting No. 815/ December 4, 2024, and adopts the following REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PRINCIPLES AND OPERATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF IOANNINA RESEARCH ETHICS AND DEONTOLOGY COMMITTEE, which was approved by the Special Seven-Member Body of the Research and Management Committee of the University’s Research and Innovation Center (ELKE) at its meeting No. 228/19-10-2022.

These Regulations for the Handling of Complaints and Appeals (RHCA) for graduate students in the Master’s Program “Dance, Society, and Culture” of the Department of Primary Education was drafted based on the CGR of the University of Ioannina (Senate Decision 1139/8-11-2022) within the framework of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) and the improvement of the University of Ioannina’s academic output. The purpose of the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for the “Educational Sciences: Dance, Society, and Culture” is to ensure, through a mechanism for managing student complaints and appeals, the improvement of the quality of the educational and administrative services provided by the M.A. program “Educational Sciences: Dance, Society, Culture” for all graduate students.
